Camera in 3ds max is much like a real-world camera. It gives us a feeling, as we stand in the scene looking through the lens of the camera. Like any other 3D object, we can position camera anywhere within a scene to offer a custom view. It can go anywhere and see anything.

In this lesson, we will use Target Camera. Here we will be able to change position of Camera as well as its Target.

Creating a Camera Object

  1. Create Object/objects.
  2. Click on Select Object Tool on Main Toolbar and click on Zoom Tool
  3. Now bring mouse cursor in Top Viewport, press and drag to make enough space for placing camera. You can also use Pan Tool for creating required space.

8. To display the camera's point of view. We can change
Perspective Viewport to Camera Viewport.
