Click here to reach Entry Point Menu

After adding objects to the scene from the Create panel, we can use the Modify panel to change an object's original creation parameters and to apply modifiers. Modifiers are the basic tools for reshaping objects.

  1. Create Sphere, Box and Cylinder.
  2. Select Sphere in any Viewport and click on Modify Panel.
  3. Radius of Sphere will appear in Parameters Area of Modify Panel.
  4. Change Radius value, either by clicking on amount amount spinner or highlight present radius value using mouse and give new value from keyboard and press Enter button on keyboard and see how Sphere also responds by changing its size in all Viewports.

  1. Now click on Box using select object tool.
  2. Parameters Area of Modify Panel, now shows Length, Width and Height of Box.
  3. Change these parameters and see reaction in Viewports.

  1. Now click on Cylinder.
  2. Parameters Area of Modify Panel, now shows Radius and Height of Cylinder.
  3. Change these parameters and see reaction in Viewports.

Similarly we can select any object in the Scene and after selecting Object, when we click on Modify Panel, the name of the object appears at the top of the Modify panel, and fields change to match this object.

A Parameters rollout is at the bottom of the panel. This is where you change creation parameters for an object. As you change them, the object updates in the viewport.
