means
  1. Click the mouse on Start Button.
  2. Go to All Programs Icon.
  3. Go to Autodesk Folder.
  4. Go to Autodesk 3ds Max 2008 Folder.
  5. Click on 3ds max 2008 program Icon (executable file)
 
If you are using 3ds Max 9 then follow instructions as shown below.
 
If you are using 3ds Max 8 then follow instructions as shown below.
 
If you are using 3ds Max 7 or lower version then follow instructions given below.
 
Click Start > All Programs > discreet > 3ds max 7 Folder > 3ds max 7 Program Icon
means

  3. Go to Discreet Folder.
  4. Go to 3ds max 7 Folder.
  5. Click on 3ds max 7 program Icon (executable file)
